About
Kummakerho is an internet magazine dealing with all things queer. There is no formal manifest or common line for the site, it’s participants have their own views and reasons for using the site for publishing and we like to keep it that way. Writers can choose the language they use, so some use Finnish and some English. The site is predominantly in finnish at the moment, but translations of key parts are in the works. The purpose of the site is not to be academic, but to approach queer through different routes. Personal experience is the key here.
If you are interested in taking part in Kummakerho, register as a contributor, send and email to kummakerho[at]gmail.com, or come to one of our meetings. We accept new writers and also just single texts, videos, comics: Whatever that is in digital form dealing with queer experiences. We have a changing theme that anyone can write about. At the moment, the theme is “How do you experience queer?”

Kummakerho does not take responsibility for PBB, QAB, it’s individual writers, commentors, or lurkers, nor does it take responsibility for all queeraction, or anyone who has expressed themselves to be a queer, queeractivist, or said the word queer in any possible context.
Kummakerho does not represent these things and is separate from them, it is a platform for discussion about queer, not a single voice, action group or subculture, etc. Kummakerho is open – anyone can write here. You yourself included.
